Who is responsible for your data
The controller of the personal data collected on this website is NERA — Associação Empresarial da Região do Algarve (the Algarve business association), tax number 502 280 328, registered office at Loteamento Industrial de Loulé, 8100-272 Loulé, Portugal, which runs the Internacionalizar + Algarve website and its digital catalogue.
For any question about your data, or to exercise your rights, write to nera@nera.pt with the subject “Data protection”, or call +351 289 415 151 (Call to a Portuguese landline).
What data we process, why and for how long
We only process the data you give us in the forms, the data of the companies that joined the catalogue and, if you accept, browsing data for statistics.

Who has access to the data
The project team at NERA. For network registrations, and only as needed to organise each network’s activities, the project partners: the University of the Algarve, the Algarve Tourism Region and the Algarve Tourism Association.
The website hosting provider, which processes data on NERA’s behalf under contract and does not use it for its own purposes.
Google, only if you accept statistics cookies (Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics), and YouTube, only when you play a video.
We do not sell or share data with third parties for commercial purposes, and we do not use it for automated decisions or profiling.
Transfers outside the European Union
If you accept statistics cookies, Google may process browsing data in the United States. Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which the European Commission recognises as ensuring an adequate level of protection. All other data stays in the European Union.
Your rights
You may request access to your data, its rectification or erasure, restriction of processing and portability, and object to processing based on legitimate interest. You may withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing carried out before.
We reply within one month. If we need to confirm your identity, we only ask for the information strictly necessary.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Portuguese data protection authority (CNPD), at www.cnpd.pt.
Companies in the catalogue
If your company is listed in the digital catalogue and you want to correct, update or remove its profile, write to nera@nera.pt. We handle the request and confirm by email.
Security
The website uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Requests and registrations are only accessible to the project team, in the back office, with individual accounts and encrypted passwords.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the new version is published on this page, with the revision date at the end. In case of doubt, the Portuguese version prevails.
