The company Citrusplants started as a fruit production company, for sale in the Portuguese market, passing in the 80’s, for the production of citrus plants for National Agriculture. Becoming the largest Portuguese producer of citrus fruit for agriculture. Since 2000, the company has specialized in the production of ornamental citrus. At the moment, it is the largest producer of ornamental citrus in Europe, having a sales center in the Netherlands, and exporting to 30 countries. Production consists of a Production Unit, located in the District of Faro, municipality of Albufeira, and parish of Paderne. This production unit has 36ha, and is currently composed of several production areas, under shelter and outdoors.
