SPAROS ‘activities are organized into two business areas: Industrial Research Services and Commercial Products. In Industrial Research Services, SPAROS provides a set of Research and Technological Development services to clients of the aquaculture sector, which include: i) prototyping services for new customized nutritional solutions for fish and shrimp to be used in the research and development phases of new products; ii) the performance of nutrition tests with several species of interest to aquaculture (e.g. gilt-head bream, trout, shrimp) to authenticate the effectiveness of new products; iii) the FEEDNETICS software, used to assess the growth of fish and the environmental impact, according to the food. The Commercial Products area is entirely dedicated to the commercialization of its own products, which include: i) the HATCHERY FEEDS food range, dedicated to the aquaculture market; ii) the ZEBRAFEED food, for the biomedical research market.
