The Taberna & Loja Medieval Velho Cavalinho, a space where you can travel to medieval times, is located in Castro Marim, next to the castle and surrounded by the magnificent Reserva Natural do Sapal of Castro Marim and VRSA. We hold medieval parties and banquets, tours by the heritage, staged visits, walks around the tales, medieval monthly market, workshops and gatherings, concerts and meetings of ancient music. We have a wide range of medieval clothing for sale, hire or use on our visits through the old streets of the village. At the Velho Cavalinho, visitors will be able to enjoy appetizing local snacks, accompanied by a refreshing cider or mead to the sound of some Cantigas de Santa Maria.
